Hi, again.

I mailed one carton of  books to the Dept.; please send me  a note if
and  when they arrive. If  our mortgage comes through,  I'll mail the
rest of the books to our house, probably.

I've agreed to consult for the RAND Corp. next year.  My recollection
of the departmental policy  was one day a week.  Can that be averaged
into "lumps" (no  consulting for  10 weeks, then  a ten-day  stretch,
e.g. in the  summer)? In case anyone asks, I'll  initially be working
on   their  RITA  (Rand  Intelligent  Terminal)  project,  under  the
supervision of Dr. Robert Anderson.  This is an  attempt to construct
a system  which "learns" new production rules  (similar to MYCIN).

Has the mortgage company ever checked with you or Beryl about me?  If
they do, please also  point them to Bob  Anderson at RAND (1700  Main
St., Santa Monica, Ca.).
